The Brethren is the community of believers who share a passion for motorcycles and a desire to follow Christ. Inspired by a film, directed and written by Wes Thomsen, The Brethren embodies the concept of straight talking, real men going through life's struggles; relating to each other's passions; and simply sharing happiness through the love of God.
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58

The Brethren is what alot of us men need.
Since "joining"? The Brethren my life is starting to mean something. It's great to finally have some spirituality and great friends in my heart and my life.
I agree with Scoot Man, the whole concept is something we need for sure. This thing might have been inspired by a DVD project but it was ultimately a poke on the shoulder form God.
I know for me it's easy to get caught in some religious groups asking God for what I want and not for what I need. Biking keeps you thinking about the basics and it sounds like this group does too. Nothing off the deep end, just living life in relationship.
Very cool.
Skeeter and Dan,
I just spent some time reading through the blog and it's exciting to see what God is doing through you guys. Makes me wish I was back east with you all. Thanks for sharing your lives.
Ding.
